Oscar Peterson was one of Canada's greatest jazz exports. If someone from my country is on the same caliber as the best of the best in his industry, then Canadians are capable of producing world-class talent. Instead of being criticized for doing well outside Canada (and that happens too often there), Canada's best performers should be given the greatest appreciation for giving Canada a good name.

He was influenced by Art Tatum but he probably surpassed him as a virtuoso and composer he also made a record where he sings like Nat Cole called With Regards To Nat,he made a synthesiser recordings that were never released and taught seminars on electronic music.
