The movie was visually compelling, though poorly acted, poorly written, directionless, and certainly ruined by a horrific soundtrack.The music alone ruined it.

I have just watched ''Into the Wild''.That was really great movie.One of the best movies I have ever seen.Christopher Mccandless was an happy hero.

Really kinda put the dagger in peoples heart don't you think? But the reality of it is the wild is wild for a reason. Poetry doesn't teach how to 'work' in the wild. I think he underminded the fact that his heros he sought after were born as "real" scouts of the wild they had to actually endure and knew a lot more than the average joe blow of today (er 1992). GeS Stapo unfortunatly you do make a good point about this guy but it's too bad you had to be a dick about it.
