thanks dave. i use to visit my grammie down in alabama for the summer and thats when i was introduced to boiled peanuts. i luved them, but when i went back to school in va they don't have em. but now thanks to you i can attempt to make my own introduce them to my children. thanks a lot man.

hey dave i live in the north nj i lived in fla for ten yrs i love bald peanuts i always bought them when i lived fla, when i moved back north no bald peanuts!!! so i bought the green peanuts and make them myself cajun style but dave i cook them outside on a grill burner because i make them very spicy and i cook them in a pressure cooker at 10 lbs for 90 min turn the heat off let them sit for 30 min they come out great i have to try them with chicken broth peace!

I've made boiled peanuts a few times, and though they came out good, I do think they were missing something. Ive looked around, and found nothing I wanted to add, but this chicken broth seems like the missing ingredient. Im gonna make a batch now, thanks for the great video :)

recently came back from florida with some family friends. (hail from san antonio texas) our friends young son loves to try new foods (i lived in charleston SC for quite awhile so i am very familiar with this unique southern delicacy) well you should have just seen this boy tear through 2 LARGE cups of the cajun flavored boiled peanuts in about 30 minutes. He LOVED them! I will be trying your recipie with the chicken broth htis weekend! Wish me luck!

I'm what some people may call a yankee.I never herd of boiled peanuts until I worked in South Carolina. I love them AND southern BBQ.I wish I had a big bowl of em right now to go with my ice cold beer! Thanks for southern food! How about some chicken cracklins?
