Had it not been for Fidel...the American mafiawould be in control of Cuba and Americans would go there just to gamble and get laid by using women on the island as sex objects. Fidel increased literacy, gave health care to the poor, and got rid of the crooks and corruption led by the Bautista government which was only concerned about a making money.Watch the Godfather movie...second one. It shows a cuban guy blowing himself up in a squad car. That was the intensity of the situation back then.
