Yes. It does. Think about it. Supposing that the universe did start at one central point, and expanded from there. Even if it expanded at the speed of light (which matter can't do) it could only reach a maximum size of 27.4 billion light years across in 13.7 billion years. In order to reach 93 billion light years across from a single point, the universe would need to be AT LEAST 46.5 billion years old, and it's probably much older since matter CAN'T travel at light speed.

That's compelling information. It either means that the universe did not begin at any single point, or else that it is possible for matter to travel faster than light.
