to frej84, no form of art "should" be any certain thing. the very essence of art is the openness of it. to say any form of art should be this way or that way is negating the whole point of expression. and by the way, just becuz it sounds "depressing" to u it may soung epic to another. art is in the eye of the beholder. thats your interpretation, ya know what im tryin to say dude?

holy shit! i totally forgot about hypocrisy! i used to be obsessed with these dudes! a few others i loved from back in the day are: my dying bride, at the gates, morbid angel, amorphis, carcass, death, cannibal corpse and a few others. these bands ruled the death metal scene in the 90s. death metal has gotten way more technical and alot better these days, but these bands will always jam in my opinion. theyre not as talented as newer bands but theyre still amazing in my eyes! long live the 90s!

WTF, music is emotion and cool is that what do you like! Hypocrisy and the Album Final Cheapter is one of the best DEATH Metal albums, and Death or Black Metal can realy nobody play funny, lol.

heh..black metal is so depressing, listening to burzum and life really feels like shit..if that isn't emo then what is? Metal should be cool, the tough end of music, full of life and wonderful riffs..not the most depressing and suicidal music there is. I can understand why many people with tough backgrounds would find "comefort" in listening to it, knowing that are not alone with the same sad feeling or something, but they should instead listen to something that makes them happy :)
