Some Aussie taxis are Maximas. And as for the Astra & Pulsar, that was '87. I should know, my missus drives one. Also (and correct me if I'm wrong) I thought I read somewhere that GT-R was gonna be like $80,000 here in Aus.

Who thought Nissan could build a car. R32, R33, R34, R35.Nissans always had a car arguably better then Porches and Ferraries, but now their allowed more then 280hp so without mods it's the fastest.

Our Indian friends here (Not that I'm Indian)in NZ drive Nissan Maximas and Pulsars sometimes lol It's a amazing how Nissan being an average car brand can engineering a car like GTR,I guess they're sick of seeing the Ferrari being seen as one of the few elite cars in the world and Nissan wants to join in.Good on them.

ah a holden man i see haha.well yes IF u can afford this car then yes it is a fine peice of engineering for its price i mean...a Ferrari F430 is staggeringly more expensive than a $120 000 GTR and a GTR can outrun it round that top gear track and almost almost catch the enzo which yeah makes it real value for money.so in a world with no price and a choice between the GTR or a Ford/Holden i'd yes definatly go it..and what taxi's are nissans? or is this like the 83 astra and pulsar being the same?

U do notice taxi drivers use Nissan too u no.The Nissan GTR is excellent and hats off to the Japs.I said ppl MIGHT choose Holden/Ford is becuz of the price tag but with the hi-tech stuff,I guess it's worth it and if you can afford it,good on you.This is the only jap car so far that I truely respect, others NO.Ford's might be bogans, but not Holdens.

I live in Australia and i can tell you i'd never choose a ford over a nissan GTR as its...faster, better looking, bogan's don't own them and it has slick center consol controls ect. which make it a real race sorta car not just some taxi with a V8 dumped in it

The car actually looks ok, very japanese and it looks like one of those drift cars in F&F. Guys over here in Aus and NZ might choose Holden/Ford over that.
