its a hard one,sadly its something we will never know.they will always be remembered for that fantastic debut album,that for me is enough to keep their name entact for ever.so thankfully they will never be forgotten.

I love stone roses but can't help thinkingthe reason they are remembered is for the short length of their career and the huge impact and change they had.Although they started in late 80's their music remains dateless If they had continued would they have continued 2 have done this

i stand corrected,the u2 song was in 1988,and the stone roses song was 1989,well if you are going to copy someone,copy the best band in the world,still 2 great songs,entirely different its the beggining thats the same,if the stone roses never split up they would have been a massive band worldwide,shame really.

their best album (RnH) is a tribute to all rock blues soul monsters, very humble and highly appreciated move, even if they are still U2, after all, i said enough, and this song reminds my adolescence, full of fantastic music like this, not timbaland rap shtt like today
