I like your point of view on Thenardiers, but I'm actually reading Les Mis and Hugo did refer to them as evil people especially Monsieur Thenardier.

You just can't compare the two, they're so different. At least in Wicked, the two people who should be together end up together. And as amazing as One Day More, On My Own, and Do You Here the People Sing are, Defying Gravity is still the best song ever.

i never said it wasnt unique. and yeah she harmonises well and has brilliant pitch however her voice just goes through me, and listening to it again, when she says "one more day all on my own" at 2:01 she sounds exactly like moaning myrtle. god i still cant get over enjolras he is so frikkin great!

Les Mis is more moving, more artisic, far more beautiful and will leave you with a really emotional experience that begs to see it agan. Wicked is a teenybop musical - good for what it is, but nothing compared to les miserables.

Absolutely Timeliess! I love the Broadway cast so much, and yes, I have listened to every Les Mis album and I just can't help loving the Broadway cast. I am loving Michael Maguire. Everything about him is huge!! What a presence! |
