I think Motorhead are considered part of the NWOBHM as well. I tend to see the whole movement as something of a punk/classic hard rock hybrid to be honest, though obviously different bands took more influence from one side or the other. Lemmy himself said he just plays 'rock and roll'. It just happened to be the kind of rock that would never had existed before punk!

They definitely could be slotted in with NWOBHM but in reality it was more of a punk/metal hybrid like Motorhead.When this came out I was a punk rock kid and we all dug it, same as Motorhead and after all Algy Ward was from the Saints and The Damned.Thanks for posting this.
