heard this song last sunday.. a bon odori troupe was performing at the shopping centre. this song is not about famers, its about fishermen.. the actions they do with their hands are to scoop the fish using the net and then throwing the net backwards. i rem the emcee saying that this was some hokkaido folksong but i cant remember the name of this song..

of coz, there are many songs. the one they use at shah alam there was just tokyou ondo n the other 2 that i cant even remember.

Bon Odori dance is not correct.Bon means "some period to remember and thaks to gran-gran pa&ma or grangrangran pa &ma in summer ".Odori means "dancing".so why not using the words just "Bon Odori "

aww man i want to take japanese danceing lessionsi have wanted to for a while nowand this is my fave shpooing centeri used to live in billericy but i live in southamtion nowoh i wish i was there to see this its greati wan to go to japan one day too
