Emery is a good band no matter what if they are christian or not. And besides, my itunes labeled Emery as "emo punk" lol.

they are declared as a band of christian members not a christian band (christian bands make christian music you see). They feel that being a "christian band" stops the message they deliver short.

Yeah, It may not necessarily a Christian song, but they are a declared Christian band, but not really in the Christian genre. This song is about people who like to party and how it effects their lives.

where the hell do you get christian from this song? this song is like any other song that tells the story of someone who made the wrong choices, it has nothing to do with god =|
crazydonutz (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
well, this is a Christian song,

don't try to read so deep into it. Aaron Gillespie said the same thing about Underoath and they are still an openly christian band that wants their message to reach out beyond its boundaries. Quite frankly a lot of emery's songs deal with relationships more so than they deal with god.

emery is NOT a christian band =_=

Is that to say, that I can't be a Christian because I cuss?Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm pretty sure how I speak doesn't change that. |
