Yes I know we are sadly, but it is the economic crisis and Ukraine is one of the countries who is the most badly affected by it so it has trouble but hopefully it will host it, and if it does then it will have better international recognition and it will get richer due to higher tourism and private investors if it does host the event, but Moldova is way poorer so I was just bringing up some ideas.

Im sorry to disappoint you but you are wrong already the Ukraine is experiencing major troubles with building the Euro 2012 infrastructure cause of the enormous corruption and political and economic stability. Actually poverty and third world living conditions have increased 20% over the last year. I think Poland may have someone else to co join the Euro 2012. Ukraine is getting poorer the salaries are paid in stipends and pensions only thrupances. Ukraine is way behind its EU Neigbours

Actaully Ukraine's markets and economy is getting richer, it's only now that it's halted because of the world economic crisis, but when it stops Ukraine will continue to develope and since it is hosting Euro 2012, there will be higher tourism and greater international recognition with means Ukraine will get richer and could join EU, but atleast if Moldova unitied with Ukraine even for 1 or 2 years it's economy will get richer because it will trade wine and stuff with Ukraine.

maybe you are right but this 500 euros salary per month is not too much:) but i dont think this database is reliable beacuse you dont know waht wil happpen until 2013- for example the database forecasts growth in 2008, 2009 for latvia an estonia. but we kmow that they are in recession know. i heard that the polish gdp growth will be 1.8% in 2009, the czech 2%, the sovak 4.6%, and the romanian around 4%. so i dont believe in this database so much....
