Things are so black and white to Atlantaminuteman that the views posted are representative of an American that has no mercy on/for the suffering of his fellow Homo-Sapiens. Youth Crime is far more complicated than his childish and ignorant views suggest. May his family for one day endure what many kids behind bars experience on a daily basis. MAYBE, his narrow mind will find a channel on which to grasp the broad dynamics of youth criminal activity & how best to reform young gifted minds!

America must not continue to incarcerate our youth at this rate and turn its back on its most treasured assets. The media can play into biased and sterotyped views of black men and poor people but the it is an indictment against all of us if we remain silent and do nothing to reach our youth and end the social inequalities that has led to 2 million lives behind bars. We need jobs and better schools and compassionate leaders. Let's us care enough to do our part.

Life is a choice ! They choose to do crime ! Parents choose to live drink and have children. No mercy on the criminal mind.
