Illogical. He had never heard of Pakistan. He was an Indian. All his life's work was based on his life in "India". In fact, if you listen to this poem, his message was clearly that of secularism. Thus, he would be opposed to the partition. By your equation, if 300 years from now, the entire world is taken over by the US, we will all be known as Americans. Ha, how bizarre.
