My husband and I visited the TX Capitol in June. I was reminded of this video as we walked around the Senate & House chambers, and so I stopped in to the office just before the House chamber to inquire how to state my objection. The guy asked if I wanted the names of all members. I told him No, I want someone to enforce the rules. He quietly pushed a piece of paper to me and told me to talk to Rep. Goolsby. Look him up--and call him up--help him help us end "ghost voting".

According to the report, it's against the "rules"... whatever the hell that means. The fact is, they have never been disciplined for it, and they continue to do it. And why wouldn't they? Joe Six Pack is too complacent/unconcerned/lazy to do anything about it. Most people don't understand how the legislature works, NOR DO THEY CARE.
