this world will never be perfect. the point is that changing yourself makes a difference. that difference is changing the world. not changing it to be perfect, but changing it to be better, to watever scale you can achieve, whether it is in your family, community, city, country, or like select few greats, touching much of the whole world.

I agree whole heartedly that you can't expect other people to change if you don't change yourself and also that you can't change other people unless they're willing to be changed. But the fact is just changing yourself isn't enough to change the world - others have to change, period.
