The USA has much the same situation with the distribution of Spanish and English speakers. It works for us; it teaches us about the other language, and the other culture, that exists inside our own country, and shows them not to be strange (although Quebecois can't drive. Ever. lol.), but our equals. Why couldn't that work in the USA?Why shouldn't that work?

Let me give you a case here...There's a country that has two large groups of people each with different languages. However, one is very localized. The other is spread all across the country. Yet, no matter where you go to school in this country, you must learn at least the basics of the other language. All major signs are in both languages. In short, everything important is in both, all through the country.That's a real country. Canada.
