(continuation)That said however, the MMA phenomenon we know today will not be complete without two phases: the evolution of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in the West (courtesy of one guy we know as Maeda Mitsuo, who taught the first generation of the Gracies--namely, Carlos, Gastão Jr., Jorge and Hélio), and the forming of UWF in Japan, which had Puro greats such as Satoru Sayama, Yoshiyaki Fujiwara, Nobuhiko Takada, to name a few, introduce martial arts to wrestling (what we now call shoot-style).

To all you folks comparing Puro to MMA and vice versa, saying one is better than the other, I say this: Piss the fuck off.Both have their merits, and comparing one to the other makes as much sense as dangling your cajones on top of a meat grinder.

although mma is real, i would still go for pro wrestling despite the fact its a fake entertainment cuz mma is kinda boring when the two fighters lie on the ground for a long time, hitting each other...what a waste of time..i like K-1 and boxing though..they are fun to watch..and pro wrestling..its way even more fun. why? cuz it has good storyline, characters and performance
