I have to agree with madtownmadman I mean every DM album is different yet you can still feel that distinctive characteristic sound that only DM can retain even after all these years. Thats what makes them so cool. They are able to re-invent themselves without loosing that same inimitability that makes them DM.

I have been a fan since I was 4 years old (since 1984), to be able to retain my attention all these years they must be doing something right. Even when Wilder left,which happened to be my favorite member, (by the way I still follow his work), I still feel that DM is one of my favorite bands if not my favorite band all these years. 

...That said, what exactly is it about their sound that has changed to the point where you would say they suck? Ultra was vastly different from SOFAD, most of their albums are quite different from each other. But they've all had that distinct Depeche Mode sound that people have loved and expected for so many years. Wouldn't you say?

Holy shit, man. I thought your username looked familiar. This is weird. To run into you in a totally different video. What are the chances? I must say, you really pissed me off with the comment you made in that other video. But if you're even a remote 'Mode fan, I'll have to pay you some respect. However, I've always known that Wilder left on his own will, not let go. Drama between him and Mart. Indeed he was a major contribution to DM. But I think they have faired well w/o him...

Uh, I wonder what your definition of kicking ass is. If it means, can't sell any albums and they've lost their sound cuz Wilder is gone then yeah they kick ass. Breaks my heart that they let Wilder go. DM hasn't put out a decent album since 1993. This song is OK but damn they've pretty much sucked since 1995. Unlike you I don't let myself be blinded to the truth even toward those I love. Reality, live in it, boy!
