Please explain why people with faith actually DESERVE to have their religion respected? Why is religion cloaked in this protective coat against questioning? Why does religion deserve respect. Your political views deserve as much respect as your religious views; none.

'Religion gets in the way of scientific progress!' is another form of bullshit spewed by atheists like Dawkins. Religion may not be compatible with science, but science and religion can exist together without clashing of ideas. Look at the likes of Al-Razi, Albert Schweitzer, Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, Al-Jabr, Al-Ghazali and such. .

He does much more than breath our air, in explaining science to the layman in today's world he is second only to carl sagan and though he would treat with smugness and contempt he would never wish you dead as you implied, furthermore, if you have a point to make then make it, otherwise grow a brain of FUCK OFF, take your pick.

Dawkins puts forward his arguments and most religious people get upset and offended. They cannot find any way to adequetely defend their point of view against the eviddence he presents.

Whenever somebody is totally against Dawkins as this person is I sometimes like to ask the simple question why? If you dislike what he is saying, what is it you find disagreeable? Usually I get no response or an off topic / misdirected answer like the one given above.

Yes, clearly somebody who can write a torrent of "FUCK YOU"s is the kind of person to tell Dawkins how to respect other people.Dawkins says some controversial and blunt things, but I'm yet to hear him say "FUCK YOU".Get a brain.
