I never knew they were going to do this.. I'm so glad I stumbled on this You Tube. Thanks a lot Mr. Butler! I am a Little House fan and always had wondered about some of the other folks Laura had written about. The books in the other Little House Series ie. the ones about Caroline when she was a girl, and the ones about Charlotte (Laura's Grandmother, are good, but nothing about the full life of Almanzo. I can't wait to see it in September!

I came across this video and am glad to hear that a movie about Almanzo is coming out. I grew up reading the Little House books and have enjoyed watching the series again on t.v. As a child I never did get around to reading Farmer Boy but I discovered it as I read it to my son. He fell in love with the story. His birthday is in early Octover and I hope I can surprise him with a copy of the Almanzo Wilder movie.Thanks Dean! Really enjoy your work!

i cannot wait for this to come out, i think the little house books have become a part of all of us,something about them stirs my soul, my mother read me the farmer boy when i was little and i read it to my daughter...along with all of the books of laura ingalls wilder...the little house series is still lesson learning and heartwarming to me, the memories are wonderful...i look forward to the dvd thanks dean, i think your the only one who could do this and pull it off!
