Thanks Kchallenge for that info - a very interesting lead for my own research into indegenous Europeans. I think there is also a link with the Saami people too, just looking at pics of the Kabardians, and yes they do resemble Basques. The Welsh here in Britain are possibly decendents of these ancient pre-Indo European tribes (they were the ice age hunters of Eurasia often refferred to as 'Cro-Magnon)along with some tribes among Native Americans (Clovis culture)Thanks again for that - great!

You know that singer on American Idol named David Archuleta? His father is Basque. He is on youtube, type in David Archuleta. He is very popular in the states. Nevada and Utah have a large Basque population.
