These guys are awesome! I cant even imagin what it must be like to just reinact a huge battle! Im sure that in real life it would be very scary! That guy in the bright green was a pretty big target lol not a good choice in color, im sure half the archers were shoting at him lol

BNot exactly. Histoircal fencing attempts to accurately re-create medieval and renaissance swordfighting with steel weapons. The SCA is a cultural recreation group that engages in competitive armored combat with rattan (wood) weapons. SCA fighting is based on hitorical weapons forms, but has rules designed for safety and sportsmanship.

yhea but there's fat fat with boobs and stuff and robust fat, if you are plain fat its hard to move around, I have a cousin thats like 300 pounds and he moves very well because hes robust. He looks like a footbal player or something, but he excersises O.o

yhea if the thrusting parts werent flexibe they'd be having a lot of "accidents" XD, i got a friend that participates and he says they play very violently, full force xD (and hurts xD)

Hardly at all. In fact, it is one of the most open-minded groups of people you will ever meet. Of course certain individuals and small groups can spoil the fun sometimes, like anywhere.

The weapons are rattan. The axe heads, thrusting tips, etc are rubber, leather, and/or padding.
