Has anyone read the book? it is simply fantastic and worth the read. I personally think the book is better. The film is great in its own right.

been looking for the name of this for ages. Saw it as a kid, it was on day time kids tv as a series in the uk.There is one bit that i still remember, like a flash back or something when the girl is in the bath and her dad like runs up to the camera in a REALLY scary way, totally unsuitable for kids that bit, the rest of it i found really interesting and a very moving story tho.

I love love love this movie. Unfortunately, there is no way to get it in a US version on DVD :(. Thanks for the upload!!

UK TV made a series of this film way back in the late 60s, early 70s. I remember it as being spooky and well creepy. Sort of thing for kids, that adults used to rush home to see. Kids television in the uk used to do this sort of thing all the time, intelligent stuff for kids, Timeslip, etc.

This is a wonderful film. What a pity Elliott Spiers, who played Marc, died in 1994 aged just 20.

I just realized, her banter back and forth with her mother sounds almost EXACTLY like the banter between my friend and HER daughter. LOL
