I will be voting for the first time and I am 21. I know it is important to vote but i feel like being in BC my vote doesn't make a difference. Most i know that is within 10 years of my age doesn't vote. A few may but we need to make people in my generation feel like it is important and that they can make a difference. I am very new to this and really all i know is i dont want harper anymore. They keep talking about Quebec, does that mean BC doesn't matter? I think that's why people dont vote.

You know what, I agree with you 100%. If only all the young people started voting instead of watching MTV and other meaningless shit on TV. I know all my friends say they want marijuana decriminalized but they never vote! We got all these old folks who think all young people are violent and criminals and so longer and tougher sentences is the answer. And everybody knows all old people vote. I hope the young people wake up and start exercising there to right to vote.

art doesn't need funding. any artist will create art because it is their purpose on earth.censor freedom, mr. layton? funding does not equal freedom, it equals free. a freedom is a right of yours which cannot be interfered with. the right to ones own income is a type freedom, not the duty to pay high taxes to be distributed by government.i don't support the conservative party (trust issues) but i do support the things they claim to support.
