The SNES version had other artist's artwork and they did the sprites with that artwork. Then the artist was changed and Fujishima re-desingned the characters, that's why characters and sprites are so different :'D

You can find a PSX fan made english patch, that you can install at your original ToP or download one and burn in a cd to play in your PSX/PS2.Since the PSX version is by far the best one, you should get this, the translation is perfect.Check wikipedia or google, won't give any links here because youtube may consider it illegal and delete this post.

...Man, I wish the GBA version was good. D:I'd love to play a GOOD version of this game in English... without having to resort to emulators, that is.I can't for the life of me figure out which key equals which button, and there are so many buttons on the SNES/SFC...

this is the best version of that song 'the dream will not end' or whatever it translates to..love this song in this version, the others felt kinda cheesy. eh. i guess i'm just a snes kid
