Changing the Aya Sofya into a museum was a good idea. Religious scholars only befoul the site with their blasphemous and corrupt ideas, better keep it clean and donate the place to science. There are thousands of mosques in Turkey.

Changing the alphabet was the only thing I really find unnecessary, but even that was done in order to cut off the Turks from an organized institution of corruption, ignorance and backwardness. As for forbidding the hijab, GOOD IDEA! Greatest mujahid of the 20th century!

:) He didnt consider islam and islamic culture to be inferior; he was convinced of some elements in Ottoman society which were destroying islam and its culture from within through backwardness and blasphemy and did well killing off those "religious scholars" responsible for it.

axatoramus, how can you call someone who considered Islam and Islamic culture to be inferior and "backward" a mujahid? The man had such an inferiority complex about his own culture that he forcably instituted the use of latin script and completely forbade Arabic script. He slaughtered religious scholars, forbade women from wearing hijab and converted one of the greatest masjids in all the world into a "museum." This is your great "mujahid?"

He is not Ataturkist. Ataturk respected Iran's teritorial integrity. FreeSouthAzerbaijan is most probably a "pan-turkist". Better not open ur mouth against the greatest Mojahed of modern time, Mustafa Kemal, who defeated 7 european armies to save what was left of the Ottoman Empire.
