Its only unwarranted in the story, everything else is fine... And hell that if you took Dante out and change it's name it would be a different game! Did they took Dante out? Was it a different game? NO...I agree that DMC 1 and 3 are THE PERFECT in the series, 4 is great, but doesnt reachs 1 or 3, and then theres that shit that dares to call itself DMC 2...

I'm not. If you can't already see it, then I can't explain. I'm fine with you liking DMC4, but don't tell me it is anywhere near as good as DMC1 or 3.DMC4 is totally unwarranted in all aspects. It is, as far as I am concerned, not a real DMC game. If you called it another name and took Dante out, it would be another game. Nero was pretty much the only thing done well, and he is a terrible, useless character.

Oh come on! What you dont like about DMC4? Everyone hates that Nero is the main character but his demon arm compensates it... If you mean about the storyline, then you are right, 3 and 1 are the best in those aspects, but in everything else 4 is as good as 3 and 1!

On top of that, you should see the concept art. They pretty much took their worst ideas and put them in the game. It's like they wanted it to be as bad as possible.

Story better than usual? You must be making stuff up. DMC4's story makes somewhat less sense than DMC2's. You get utter lack of extras, no Vergil, no Hell, no Dante throughout the whole game, ridiculous backtracking, and so on.I am saying that at least DMC2 did not have such weight to carry, we had lower expectations for it. But after the first 3 games, DMC4 is inexcusable.

Agreed one hundred percent. Dmc 1 and DMC 3 where ten times better. Kobayashi is an idiot for doing this to the series.

youve got to be kiding :D you say DMC 4 is bigger disapointment? at least it doesnt have tanks and helis. Also I found the story better then usual. Altho I get annoied how Nero is dependant on his hand. most of the bosses require you use it or else it is realy dificult to kill them. For example Dante.You should try it on Legendary Dark Knight dificulty becose thats what I call a battle with deamons

As a generic action game, maybe. But it doesn't deserve to be called DMC. kobayashi is a hack. The storyline is terrible, filled with holes, all the character besides Nero are lame, and no Vergil. Instant fail.Go back and play DMC1, then you will understand. |
