i'm gonna get some flack for this but i have always thought that silverchair sound a lot more like the stone temple pilots.plus nirvana sounded different on every album.listen to bleach and tell me it sounds like this.

Keep in mind that those boys are in that time around 15 yares old. The album frogstomp (with the hit tomorrow) was released in 1995, a year after cobains dead. In those days grunge and rock are booming, so that there sound is like nirvana and Daniel looks like Cobian isn't that strange. Blond grunge guy with long hair. Besides that, silverchair is more rock/grunge then the grunge nirvana played. I do still like there music tough.
