Scientists are so dumb!...They claim bacteria and viruses are to blame for many of the worlds ills.Everyone knows it's the devil.....DUH!

I won't go into a religious discussion about this video, but there is somethng I've found strange about the video for years. To me it looks like XTC was inspired by the old Beatles "music video" for Strawberry Fields, but then lead singer Andy Partridge sorta looks like Lennon's killer Mark Chapman?!

Leave negative comments at the door, this is a very good song. Maybe there is a god, maybe not. All of the people arguing on internet comments are wasting there time. Nobody cares about any of your opinions. Why waste time fighting about who is right or wrong. Just enjoy your life believing what you want, without pushing your beliefs on others. You only have a short life on this earth, and then who knows what. But if you enjoy life and refrain from harming others, any afterlife should be fine.

I shouldn't like this song as much as I do. I'm a born again Christian but this truly is fantastic.

Yes I do understand and respect your position and I always have. I never lash out unless I am being provoked. So we are all here to agree to disagree. We all have are own experiences and therefore God or no God, is a subjective matter to each individual. Some may offer the Bible, the Koran, the I-Ching, the Bhagavad-Gita, Carl Sagan Science or like me George Ohsawa's Macrobiotic philosophy just to name a few. I encourage everyone to consider many different sources.

Then you should understand why I don't accept something without the evidence to support it.

Absolutely I understand your point. Various people at this site sound off with what to me seems like frustration at times. Kind of like the lyrics of this song "Dear God." Some merely just allow faith to guide their belief in God and others simply need proof. All I have ever offered is another avenue to look at and consider. So with that said I realize that we all have different experiences and it is these experiences that help or hinder ones effort in their own search or contemplation.

There you have just stated what I have been stating all along. It's an arbitrary thing, and whether or not someone were to eat the same foods you did or not, they could feel the same; they might not as well. If you grew up in a predominantly Muslim country, you might have had an experience in which Allah 'revealed' himself to you. Good, you're free to believe it. Your experience doesn't apply to me and that's it. Hope you understand and realize why it is so.

Not a bad answer under the circumstances. It is always difficult to speculate because the proof is never available. I am always just speculating about whether or not God does exist. I take from all that I have studied and also the disciplined dietary practice with the heightened sense of awareness that I acquired from it. I put together all these things that for me seem to line up to the ultimate question "does God exist." And for me and to my satisfaction I have to say yes. It is personal.
