I have an M-Audio ProKeys 88, which I believe has a Hohner Clavinet D6 sound on it. Not a bad idea to listen to Head Hunters a bit, I never really payed much attention to the clav on that album. But rewatching this video, I think I'm starting to understand how you're doing it. I just tried it out and I think I'm starting to get it :), but not nearly as fast or as smooth as you're doing it.

Hi! Yeah what keyboard are you using? Try and think of playing a clav sound as a rhythm player, left right left right, listen to Billy Preston Outta Space and Herbie Hancock 70's Headhunters! :o)

I have both a clav sound on my keyboard as well as a wah pedal, and I have always been trying to get a sound like this out of it. How, exactly, are you making that fast-paced constant sound?

Thanks man, Im not a percussionist/drummer, but i do like rhythms so maybe i just try and interpret rhtyhms in my head for the clav and not on a drum kit, i just saw an amazing clav vid with matt cooper out of incognito on here, check it out!

Aw shucks, your too kind! Really, there are some great clavinet vids on Youtube. Check out 'Matt Cooper clavinet' it is amazing. He's the keys player out of Incognito and is brilliant!

Excellent playing and use of the wah wah pedal!I can't believe you've been playing for four years. I've been playing clavinet since my band bought me a brand new D6 for my birthday to add to my live rig back in the early 1970's and you sure blow me away as well!! Are you a drummer/percussionsist too? You've really got that style of plaing the Clav down!I've now got a Clavinet/Pianet Duo
