Amen- I was horribly depressed about the state of rock and roll, until I discovered the White Stripes, and the natural progression to The Racs, BB, the Black Keys, The Greenhornes, Holly Golightly, and the Black Squares. True, organic rock still lives.....

reply to rejectslover658. yeah john frusciante is like that. his solo work deserves to be extremely famous but every fan is glad its not. but then john has rhcp and brendan has the raconteurs haha.

Ah...brendans voice is so soothing...and yeah he needs more credit instead of just being labeled as "soundtrack music" FUCK U MUSIC INDUSRTY!

one of the best bands out their with very little recognition *the music industry sucks*

Lapalco is pure pop brilliance - plain and simple :-)

Stole the thought right from me. =)

BTW, no, it's not me. While the shots are not "static", it's not difficult to understand what I'm talking about. A music video is all about marketing the band (yes, magic, aka art, does arise now and again, but it's easier said than done.) In any case, even given a small budget, the director could have come up with a much better idea. The video is all technique and misses in spirit.

This song (and pretty much all the songs on Lapalco) is pure awesomeness.

totally agree with you.

Uh, these are not static shots. Learn the terminology and THEN maybe you can comment intelligently. I hope the good director you're referring to isn't you. |
