The Nosferatu version I've seen has a much more terrifying music and I feel it is a much better one. No matter what, this movie is a true monument... Murnau was ingenius and his Kammerspiele techniques were awe-inspiring, almost one century later. Surely one of the gratest, along with Fritz Lang.

View my channel if you want to see Erich von Stronheim's Greed - uncut (1924). I also plan to upload Abel Gance's Napoleon and Orson Welles' The Magnificent Amebrsons. Subscribe for updates.

The BEST version of this film is the newly released Kino double DVD remastering of this film.....its a special edition and DEFINATELY worth the $25 price tag! If you love this move like I do, then buy it. However, my FAVORITE version is still the one with the Type O Negative soundtrack......TYPE O + Mosferatu = DESTINY! |
