I love this song, not only because it has substance, but because at some point I left something behind and too can understand to reason for wanting it back in my life. Thats true music, music that can tell your story. Thats what legends are made of.

you are soo right...i am guilty of it myself..but this guy is very talented...hope he reaches a wide audience and doesn't get the old "neo soul" stamp like all the other really talented soul singers...it seems like those artist never reach the mainstream audience....i guess they said it best...the industry is 10% talent 90% image....sadly !!!

what the hell are you talking about? why are you giving this man credit because he's not running the streets. he's not suppose to be running the streets. he's a good artist...period. you don't need to justify it. chris rock said it best...black people are always trying to take credit for stuff they're suppose to do. you'd never hear a white person say "at least he's not running the streets". wake up people. we are capable of greatness.
