thats right it was a safe landing and it wasnt that bad but the cross wind was really hard, you can see how pilots had to adjust the throttle to maintain anltitude and speed.great video

that was good work from the pilot u good see him fight it but man he could of went around but he made it :)

Yeah, but a good landing is a safe landing, not always a soft one...
andreibond007 (October 5, 2008 at 11:35 am)
Yes,it had wind gust from the back that pushed it down at landing.Wind is still one of the most dangerous things for a plane.

Crosswinds, morons. Look into them. Protip: landings aren't so soft with a crosswind.
nabob2233 (October 3, 2008 at 9:21 pm)
needs to flare more
praetorian2150 (October 3, 2008 at 2:07 pm)

omnoplea (October 3, 2008 at 1:42 pm)
I would like to see you do better
captianofthesky1 (October 3, 2008 at 10:19 am)
you have to much flaps and you pull the noise up it just dont work

Sorry, but that makes no sense. It's called a flare. The aircraft retards the throttle and gently pulls back on the control column. It makes the landings softer, instead of your hard as hell flight simulator landings. |
