Cubanismo is the name, listen to anything of theres. From a jazz perspective you might like there album "Mardi Gras Mambo. But there are too many good bands out there-Fania Allstars,Gran Combo, Los Van Van anything Tito Puente or Celia Cruz,Ray Barreto, Willie Colon Chucho or Bebo Valdez those should get you started but I left out many many more cause there are too many excellent Bands to name.

Find some old Willie Bobo, esp. w/Mongo Santa-maria and Cal Tjader ) Tito Puente. Bobo was a jazz master as well as timbalero..

Cool groove with the cascara & left foot clave. Whats the 8" tone in the middle? Maybe its out of tune but its not doing much for the mix.
