bull crap most of this music is actually based of arabic, kurdish, persian,afghan, turkish music or anything orianetal for that matter. just cause greeks were there for centuries dosent mean everything originated from them. the persian were also there for centuries so were the turks who ,as they invaded ,picked up culture of many diifernt nation along the way beforing ending up in europe

not exactly...Turks copy from Greeks too...in general all aspects of "turkish" culture are nothing more than stealing Greek dances and music..Turks came from Mongolia in 13 th century after christ , while Greeks lived there thousands year BEFORE CHRIST! so who is stealing songs??Since Greeks are the most ancient nation who inhabit balkan peninsula, greeks have the most ancient musical tradition.

Some of these songs are copied of Greek music!I heard a cover from Kaiti Garbi and Peggy Zina!
