I don't think this film has held up as well as one might hope (it's certainly not the scariest film of all time), but it is still a very unsettling and captivating film. And damn me if the final, actual exorcism scene isn't one of the most riveting pieces of cinema in history.

I havn't seen it "yet" but im pretty sure its about a little girl getting possesed by a demon, and some people think its a true story though its not.

Back when this movie came out my mother had forbid my stepfather from seeing this film. well he went anyway and in the middle of the night he called the house saying he saw the devil in his apartment at the foot of his bed laughing. She woke all us kids up and we had to go over there and pray and cast the demons out. True story!. later I saw the film myself and I think it's a work of genius.

I just watched this yesterday! It was great~It was looked really fake, but it was still really awesome. Personally, I think this movie is way better than the scary movies we have now. The movies now are just about gore. This is now one of my favorite movies! Love it~
