Lars is more slow and powerful. Joey plays fast and not as powerful.

May I beg to differ? Joeys double kick is good, but check out Derrek Roddy, Pete Sandoval, and the drummer from Nile. I will gurantee you wont find faster.

joey is in my mind, id the fastest double bass drummer ever. YES i do like lars ulrich too, but it seems like hes changed in his drumming style. it seems like he played faster durring the time of master of puppets, or ...and justice for all. now in days he has a much smaller set, but all in all, Lars Ulrich is still the greatest
