...and this is the inteligent sort of comment & thinking which lead to the murder of an 18yr old gay teenager in Liverpool this week.No doubt Cornwall police will be encouraged that there are those like 'Mavrick1203', who appreciate their brand of Homophobia.

Hmmmm, straight people should show their effection for one another in private too then. Everyone should be themselves and if they want to stand out and flaunt their personality so be it. It's everyones right to be different. The world would be bloody boring if everyone was like you. I'm only sad because I am one who always tried to fit in and never stand out in a crowd so I guess I am a lot like you. Just more open minded.

The treatment Peter got was insane, immoral and downright-immature. The government had no right to ignore him. Will there ever be a day when the government/mainstream community will ever see the gay community as the same--because that is what they are. I am not gay, but I strongly support the gay community as a person...I really want to say thanks for informing everyone of this, and i really want to give my support. It is my opinion, that if a religion, government, or people in general, abuse, hate, and kill anyone, gay people included, then they are godless idiots deserving of jail time, and in the most violent cases, put to death. This world is falling apart because of humanity's being inhumane to one another. Where does the hate stop? Let people be free, to be, to be themselves without fear of hate, and violence. Please let the healing begin...NOW!!

Oh '1madaboutguitar' please DO explain HOW a 15yr old child is at fault for the abuse, neglect & prejudice of his parents, Cornwall Social Services & the VILE Homophobic Cornwall police. ALL of whom failed in their Legal 'duty of care' to a minor and left him on the streets!!!...if that was not enough they then proceeded to abuse & violate everyone who DID give help to the gay youth.That IGNORANCE & Prejudice towards gays makes me so angry!

Gay people should be given an equal chance for everyting in society. However i find gay people have a massive chip on their shoulder as well and many have unresolved issues with who they are and break that delicate balance to trying to be accepted and then provoking and irritating people. That in itself is creatoing tension...so they do bring alot o fprobvlems on themsleves. The bottom line is ITS YOUR PRIVATE LIFE...KEEP IT PRIVATE!
