err that was ment to go under someones post about Hendrix dying of sleeping pills and alcohol not drugs (idiot post). The whole Cobaine vs Doherty thing is stupid anyway they don't do anything similar really so why compare?Just for pure oneupmanship terrible. Let the men play and love them for that don't drag em down by comparison.

I'd choose Doherty over Cobain any day... I'm not denying Cobain's influence but neither should anyone deny Doherty's influence on this century's music! Look at what him and the Libertines did! Saying his music is "awful" is just ignorant! Listen to the Libertines-albums... I'd choose any song off of them over any Nirvana- song, I'd never call them "awful" though.

well, maybe not in the class of hendrix guitar wise, but for songwriting hes close, and cobain wasnt that good in my opinion, and hes obviously a good poet, if him going to russia for some poem thing (tanickbrew)
