well stairway is pretty much about a woman who thinks she can buy everything, and wants everything. People think its really about a woman who died or whatever, but they're idiots. Knowing Pink Floyd, this song has something to do with Syd Barret seeing as this movie is supposedly all about his life. If I were you I would google it, it's the number 1 solution.
