300 for a very cheap one. 500 to 700 for an average one that can either be soft and light, or deeper/louder.. and 800 and up are the pricey ones for very experienced professional because they know how to make it sound beautiful. if your a beginner than get a 400.00 and under one to work with. Because even if you bought the most expensive, it would still sound cheap. Def buy one :P youll love it

for some reason i've always been interested in classical music even tho i never heard it when i was growing up. I want a violin so so bad but they're like $300 i think.
