Even if it sound like the Dead, think Ry and company are not the ones who cover.....they are just great musicians....

Song is from "Bop Till You Drop", first digitally mastered vinyl. Chaka Khan on vocals on album. This song has NOTHING to do with the dead, thank god. Dude must have worked at the Catalyst. Thanks so much for these of Ry. He is a living legend. What a funky, funky live performance. Thanks again.

i can see a SLIGHT resemblence between this and shakedown street, but other than that it's alot different, and i'm a dead-head.

I was at both shows at Bimbos in SF during this tour! Best live show I've ever seen, and I've seen (and played) a lot. I recorded the show on a funky pocket tape player. Fuzzy recording, but it's priceless: this is possibly the best rock/pop/soul music ever.

"Nice and all. But does it not sound like a rip off of Grateful Deads "Shakedown Street". Same rythms, same call-and-response same harmonics. This is not as good as Shakedown Street, though."You must be joking.
