Oh I remember this day like it was yesterday. I was only 17, When my friends and I realized how dangerous this storm was we chose to walk from the corner of Royal and Niagra to Riverside Ave...it took us almost 2 hours to walk that short distance. I couldn't call my parents it was awful. Cell phones would have been a blessing at that time

I lived in Niagara Falls then, I was only 6 but I remember it well! We couldn't get out our front door, my dad had to climb out the upstairs window with tennis racquets tied to his feet to get to the store!
