the latest superman movie was trash...the old one's were way better. Maybe they'll rightfully do one with Tom welling soon too.

its clear that routh just plays the caracter of superman as just another movie character , but welling's performance as clark is profound and really puts his heart on it

I loved the poster @ 1:18. So true. Which goes to prove that Superman, or rather what he represents, transcends generations. Any actor who puts on that cape and looks down at that "S" on their chest....I wonder what that feels like. I can't imagine how heavy that burden must be....what an awesome responsibility it is. With all due respect to Spider-man, Batman etc...In my opinion, I don't think anyone comes close to being "America's" hero than Superman...though Capt. America would be close.

Completely understood! I mean, thanks to Tom, I love Superman again! But, he would have been a better Superman than Routh!

I know, Tom is way better. But a friend told me that when they were casting for Returns, they asked Tom if he wanted to be Superman. But he said no that he wanted to stay with the show. And I say good for him :) Other wise the show would be cancelld or delayed and would confuse people. I say wait till the show is done then get him for the reboot.
