thanks aking for your assessment. i do think the hip hop artist are doing very well but i'll always appeciate the igbo/hausa/yoruba artist better. either we like it or not we need to preserve our indegeneous music.

Just think about Apala and Yusufu Olatunji; Sakara and Haruna Isola/Ayinla Omowura; Juju and Sunny/ Obey Fuji and Alhaji Agba, Comedy and Gbenga Adeboye. I give kudos to the efforts of current artists in these field of music but I challenge you to match/beat these great talents. Currentlly the guys in imported fields of music like hip-hop are trying more than those in our classical/traditional fields by my modest assessment. Yoruba Ronu o!
