Analysis of 1967 Patterson-Gimlin Film by the North American Science InstituteThe 1967 Patterson-Gimlin Film, photographed on October 20, 1967 in Bluff Creek, California by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin is one of few pieces of photographic imagery that has not yet been proven to be a forgery. This film was evaluated by the author to see if it may be excluded from the set of Bigfoot phenomenon observations by demonstrating it is a forgery.

I'm very sorry but this is NOT a genuine scientific evaluation, it is guesswork. Very fancy guesswork, with formulas and long, impressive-sounding words but guesswork nonetheless. They don't even know what FILM was used OR what speed it was filmed at so the calculations are worthless. Besides, the FULL report concludes that the existence of Bigfoot is "implausible" and that there is no evidence that a human could not physically have walked in the way seen in the film.

Back in those days, we were still learning about gorillas; not nearly as much was known about them back then compared to today. So that could make you wonder.

Its almost like the face/vase thing. looks like an ape walking like a man to me.

Yes, that's the most fascinating picture. I find the form of the head interesting, too: Lengthier than a human's, tending towards that of a mountain gorilla as seen in 07:49. I'm convinced.

Thanks for uploading. This helps a lot. I wish, some of the "experts" on bigfoot out there had read this :)

still looks like a dude in a suit to me

Yes...lowland gorillas in the Congo, to be exact....about 100,000 of them!!!! Unknown until 2008...

Explain how in 1967 a suit this good could be made? They could create a suit that had a muscle bulge? This video has yet to be proven a fraud infact more and more scientists are confirming its authenticity. Type in Legend Meets Science on youtube and watch the documentary supporting its existence.

I appreciate you posting this video. It's very hard for someone to sift through the stuff that they find on the internet, but I found this video to be very helpful. Thank you for putting time into it.

Welcome to our club of loony believers!!! Some choice reading would be "Bigfoot-The Yeti and Sasquatch in Myth and Reality" by John Napier...he was head of the Smithsonians primate dept. Grover Krantz's "Big Footprints" is also a classic, as well as Loren Coleman's "Bigfoot-the True Story of Apes in America"...enjoy!
