you can never avoid that. you should see san francisco, its PACKED with people and nobody even cares about earthquakes, its like they just go on, if it happens, it happens

thats ridiculous - i would be more annoyed if there was a huge earthquake in LA and its wasnt shown on the news. also in the uk, the government does not make news, the BBC does, or in this case ITN
